Welcome to Valley Physical Therapy and Sports Performance

Valley Physical Therapy and Sports Performance was founded in 2024 in response to the growing need for high quality one-on-one physical therapy. In this current health care climate of declining reimbursement, many practitioners, myself included, were being forced to work longer hours and spend less time with patients in order to make ends meet. This of course lead to decreased quality of care and worse outcomes for our patients.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver personalized, one-on-one physical therapy care centered on each patient’s unique goals and needs. We give every person our full attention, help them understand their own bodies, and get to know them as people — not just patients — so they leave every visit feeling not just physically better, but genuinely cared for. And because growth never stops, we hold ourselves to the same standard we set for our patients: constantly learning and improving so we can keep showing up for the people who trust us with their care.

Our Vision

We envision a future where physical therapy puts the patient back at the center of their own care — where undivided attention, real education, and genuine compassion aren’t the exception, but the standard. We believe the people who know a patient best — the patient and their therapist — are the ones positioned to determine what that care should look like, and that every interaction along the way should leave someone better off, not just physically, but as a whole person. We’re committed to extending this standard of care beyond our own community, helping shape what physical therapy looks like for the field as a whole — and growing, always, toward that goal.

Why We’re Different

Our Core Values: GRACE

G

A physical therapist is handing a small dumbbell to a woman in a white shirt, while supporting her elbow.

For decades, physical therapy has been quietly shifting away from the patient. Insurance companies and payers — not patients or their therapists — have increasingly determined what care looks like: how long a session lasts, how many visits are “allowed,” and which treatments are covered.

We believe that’s backwards. The people best positioned to determine what a patient needs are the patient and the therapist working with them, not a claims department. That’s why we built Valley PT around a different model: one where care decisions are made between you and your therapist, based on what you actually need, not what’s reimbursable.

It means more time with each patient, care that adapts as you progress, and a relationship built on trust instead of paperwork. We believe this is what physical therapy should look like everywhere — and we’re proud to offer it here.

Growth We’re always getting better - and so will you. We never stop getting better — and neither do our patients. We invest in our own clinical skills, knowledge, and craft so we can offer the best care possible, and we hold the same expectation for the people we treat: that with the right plan and effort, they’ll keep making progress, both in how their body feels and how well they understand it.

R

Relationships You’re not a number. You’re part of our community. We’re building a community here, not just running appointments. We know our patients’ names, their goals, their frustrations, and what’s going on in their lives — and we treat our coworkers the same way.

A

Attention When we’re with you, we’re with you. When we’re with someone, we’re with them — no distractions, no rushing, no half-listening while thinking about the next task. Every patient deserves to feel like they’re the only thing that matters for that visit.

C

Care Every interaction should leave you better than it found you. Every person who interacts with us — whether they’re a patient, a referral source, or a fellow staff member — should walk away better off for it. We ask ourselves: did this make someone’s day a little better?

E

Education We don’t just treat you, we teach you. We teach, and we learn — every single day. We help patients understand their bodies so they’re empowered, not dependent. And we stay curious ourselves, always looking for the next thing we can learn that makes us better at what we do.
